Quinn Hoang has been designing and producing events for more than 25 years. Based in Houston, Texas, Quinn has overseen experiential signature events for corporate clients, venues, private clubs, and even the Super Bowl.
Quinn began her career in broadcasting and radio, transitioning to event production in the late 1990’s. After spending some time working for private clients, she began her corporate career in 2006 with The Tasting Room Wine Cafes and MAX’s Wine Dive Restaurants. She later was part of the opening team for the Houston House of Blues and continued to work with Live Nation after leaving that venue. Quinn then spent more than seven years producing events at the prestigious River Oaks Country Club as well as the Houston Country Club.
After working with the events team on the Houston Super Bowl Committee for the 2017 Super Bowl, Quinn began her tenure at the Houston Business Journal in July of 2018 as the Director of Events. There, she immediately made her mark, taking the Houston publication from number 20 in events revenue out of the 46 Business Journals in the United States to one of the top spots in the country. Quinn’s events quickly became known as “must-attend” events where audiences were engaged, entertained, moved, and motivated. Her innovative work earned the Houston market five Coveted “Eagle” Awards from HBJ’s parent company, American City Business Journals. This included a complete transformation of HBJ’s events into a virtual format during the COVID shutdown years, where she commissioned a unique, proprietary sound stage for broadcasting awards presentations on-line.
Quinn’s contributions to HBJ’s events program will long be remembered as both innovative and transformative. Now, she can bring that innovation, skill, and energy to your corporate events.
